The members voted. And it was kind of a tie between yes and no but keep the chat link in the nav. Which in a way was the same thing. So i just removed the shoutbox from all pages but kept the popup chat in the nav. Please note that when you post unless other members are on no one will see your messages. So you can no longer post messages like Hi, Hello is any one on? As no one will see them. This should also cut down on newbies from registering and posting in the shoutbox and then never returning to the forums.
Reasons for its departure:
1) I am sick and tired of seeing new members register and post in the shoutbox only to never return or even make one single post. And i cant disable it for certain member groups.
2) No one was every hardly using it because no one is really ever on at one time. When we get new members and members who are all on at the same time it may return.
3) It was just annoying me sitting there. Made the forums look a tad cluttered. XD
